With knife crime and gang culture more prevalent in inner city settings, we aim to equip our young participants with a positive growth mindset which ultimately improves their mental health. This encourages them to be more positive in their thoughts, words and actions, thus reducing violence in our communities.

 

Although there seems to be a correlation between the popularity in U.K rap music and the rise in dangerous crime, at Rap Club we understand that the problem is not with the music itself but how the music and the lifestyle is being interpreted by the young people listening. We provide education and transparency into the music industry which mortalises the artists that young people aspire to.
